“Priorities”- by Thomas Hargadon

One thing that the Lord has been teaching me while leading worship has been the importance of truly worshiping Him and pondering over the words that I am singing. While I want to play skillfully for the glory of the Lord, my heart needs to be in a posture of worship, not in a focus of playing the right chords or singing the right notes. I never want to hide behind any sort of performance I can give with my instruments but instead to hide behind nothing but the cross. My goal is not to be a worship leader, but instead to be a lead worshiper.
