“The right spirit”- by Selena Case

God has really worked in my life these past few years when it comes to worship. It all started when the shutdown happened with Covid. Whenever our church doors closed and we went to online worship services, God really began to change my heart and attitude towards worship. There was something about those intimate times of recording the worship service for the upcoming Suday that God allowed me to experience worship in a new way. There was no congregation, it was just us together singing praises to the Lord. Through that experience, God has allowed me to not only view worship as an opportunity I have each week to usher people into the presence of the Lord, but really, truly, it is just an opportunity for me to get to praise God for who He is, and all He has done. I recently heard a pastor say that practice for worship should be a time in which the fire is building inside of you so that by Sunday you are overflowing with the spirit of the Lord in worship. So this is my prayer…that every time I have the opportunity to lift my voice in worship, it will be done with a reverent spirit, offering up my praises to Him
