“Flexibility is key”

A member of the Collective team, Nathan Hannah, came to talk to us at our meeting in November, here’s something he told us, “Don’t limit yourself to be one or two things. Open yourself up to learning new things. Be willing to do things that you wouldn’t normally do.” That got us thinking: as worship leaders, flexibility is key. Not only in the worship service itself, but in our role in it. Are you always singing? Try hanging out in the sound booth for a night, learn how to work the board! Do you play guitar? Try learning bass! Do you open yourself up to learning new things as a worship leader? Being willing to do whatever, whenever asked to do it, opens us up to serve and be blessings to others in ways that we couldn’t have otherwise!
